New Letter to Governor of Belmarsh with addresses and phone number

Dear sir:

It has come to my attention that while housing Julian Assange while he is in remand that you have been detrimental in your treatment of this man. Please remember than a man is innocent until proven guilty and he is not on trial in the U.K.Through the continuous mistreatment of Assange, you have shown the world you intend to carry on the tradition of torture shown at the Tower of London. This is nothing to be proud of. The world is watching as you keep him from defending himself, have and continue to enforce solitary confinement 23 hours a day, and have also used the “hot box” form of torture. Sir, the U.K. is not a 3rd world country nor do we live in the Dark Ages.It is your responsibility as a governor over Belmarsh to provide an environment that does not unjustly violate human rights of an individual. As Assange’s health wanes and his anxiety increases thinking about possible extradition to the U.S. (where he will be tortured), it is your responsibility to see that he has every chance to defend himself. It has also been evident you have been withholding his mail to further isolate and hurt his well-being. You must end this mistreatment now and be an example to the world.Give Assange the tools he needs to defend himself, give him ample time with his lawyers and visitors, release his mail and treat him with the respect he us due.

Thank you.

Julian Assange’s Father Hopeful Assange Will Be Freed

In an article by 9News in Australia, ( seen here), Assange’s Father stated he was hopeful for Julian’s release due to a huge uptick in support. Shipton stated,

“Basically the malice and spite demonstrated by the United Kingdom and Sweden is of concern to every Australian,” Mr Shipton told AAP.

“We are working towards the government involving itself diplomatically to ensure Julian’s return home to Australia and the prosecution stopping immediately.”

John has visited 8 countries in order to help free his son who is still in custody on remand in Belmarsh prison in the U.K. Assange currently spends 23 hours a day in his cell in solitary confinement. Isolated from the outside and unable to prepare his defense, Assange’s health continues to deteriorate under these terrible conditions. Surrounded by murders and terrorists, Julian languishes in the prison hospital without proper medical care.

Recently, hundreds of journalists and over 80 doctors have signed 2 seperstre open letters in an effort to support Assange. May his freedom come soon.

Hundreds of Journalists Sign Open Letter To End Julian Assange’s Illegal Incarceration

A recent open letter by journalists has been signed by over 400 journalists as of today demanding the “unconditional freedom” of fellow journalist Julian Assange. Assange is awaiting possible extradition to the United States to face 18 indictments for publishing war crimes by the U.S. which would hold a sentence of 175 years. His conviction would result in the end of free press as we know it and enable the U.S. to convict and incarcerate any journalist around the world who exposes criminal activity by the United States government.

Assange remains in high security Belmarsh prison with little to no access to other human beings. Judge Vanessa Baraitser gave him remand status but the conditions he is enduring have not changed. He is being treated worse than the terrorists and murderers that surround him. Journalists everywhere are now taking a stand against this travesty of justice.

According to an article by World Socialist Web Site seen here:

The journalists’ stand follows the issuing of an open letter to the British Home Secretary last month by more than 65 eminent doctors, condemning the denial of adequate medical care to Assange and warning that he could die in prison. It coincides with a statement by a group of international lawyers documenting the illegality of the US-led persecution of Assange and calling for his immediate release.

These initiatives reveal that outside the rarefied circles of the governments, intelligence agencies and media corporations that have spearheaded the nine-year campaign against Assange, world public opinion is with the WikiLeaks founder and against his persecutors.

The journalists’ letter states: “This case stands at the heart of the principle of free speech. If the US government can prosecute Mr Assange for publishing classified documents, it may clear the way for governments to prosecute journalists anywhere, an alarming precedent for freedom of the press worldwide.”

The letter bluntly declares: “In a democracy, journalists can reveal war crimes and cases of torture and abuse without having to go to jail. It is the very role of the press in a democracy.”

It reviews the repeated findings of the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention that Assange was effectively subjected to illegal detention by the British authorities when they besieged the Ecuadorian embassy, where he successfully sought political asylum in 2012.

The letter outlines the conclusion of UN Special Rapporteur on Torture Nils Melzer, who has stated that Assange’s legal and democratic rights have been trampled on and that he has been subjected to an unprecedented campaign of “public mobbing” that has amounted to “psychological torture.”

More journalists worldwide are sure to sign in the future. It is time for the U.K. to release this publisher and editor. t is way past time to Free Assange.

The Psychological Torture in Social Media

If you think it doesn’t exist, just watch the headlines. One person after another commits suicide after being violently attacked online. I am a victim myself.

After so much of it, you begin to question your sanity. It starts seeping into your life like a horrible cancer. Just when you think they can’t get to you anymore, someone else joins the group. The part I love is how they block you and then talk trash behind your back.

I’ve discussed mobbing before. For those of you who aren’t sure what it is, let me share the definition.

According to Wikipedia:

Mobbing, as a sociological term, means bullying of an individual by a group, in any context, such as a family, peer group, school, workplace, neighborhood, community, or online.

When it occurs as physical and emotional abuse in the workplace, such as “ganging up” by co-workers, subordinates or superiors, to force someone out of the workplace through rumor, innuendo, intimidation, humiliation, discrediting, and isolation, it is also referred to as malicious, nonsexual, non-racial/racial, general harassment.[1]

The mobbing of an individual regardless of why can be brutal, agonizing and humiliating. When it is from people you once respected who jumped to conclusions, it is horrifying. Attempts to explain are met with more people attacking and blocking you..

Character assassination is worse than physical torture in many ways. According to this article seen here;

In practice, character assassination involve double-speak, spreading of rumors, innuendo or deliberate misinformation on topics relating to the target’s– morals, integrity, reputation… It may also involve spin information that’s technically true, but presented in misleading manner, or without the necessary context… In other words its malicious assaults designed to damage or tarnish the reputation of a person. Once done, these acts are difficult to reverse or rectify. Therefore its likened to a literal assassination of a human life. The damage sustained can last a lifetime or, for many celebrities or important personalities, in can last for decades after their death…

According to Wikipeadia, some of the effects of mobbing or character assassination include: adjustment disorders, somatic symptoms, psychological trauma (e.g., trauma tremors or sudden onset selective mutism), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and major depression.[2]

Literally, this is cyberbullying. Many dont even realize what they are doing. They think somehow they are exposing an individual when in fact, they are attacking them emotionally. It is easy to destroy someone else when you hide behind a computer screen with a fake name. For the person doing it, no harm comes to them. To the victim it is devastating.

DOJ Begins Targeting Supporters of Julian Assange

Two of us shared on Twitter today this notification from Google. We are both big activists in the fight to Free Assange.

We have little to no i formation as to why we are being targeted, but when I have more info, I will update. It makes you wonder who else’s data has been subpoenaed that hasn’t spoken up yet.

Either the DOJ is getting desperate to silence our voices or they are trying to scare supporters from fighting for Julian’s life. However, his does not scare me. I have done nothing that is not within my legal rights to do.
